UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS:

SOME AND ANY
SOME is generally used in affirmative sentences.
There are some apples.
There is some milk.
I have some books.
ANY is generally used in questions and negative sentences.
Are there any apples?
Is there any milk?
There aren't any apples.
There isn't any milk.
Examples:
Are there any students in the classroom?
Yes, there are some students.
Is there any water?
Yes, there is some water.
Are there any computers?
No, there aren't any computers.
Is there any juice?
No, there isn't any juice.
MANY AND MUCH
MANY is used with plural countable nouns.
There are many students.
There are many books.
I have many pencils.
MUCH is used with uncountable nouns.
There isn't much water.
I don't have much money.
There isn't much rice.
In affirmative sentences, A LOT OF is usually more natural than MUCH.
There is a lot of water.
There is a lot of food.

A LOT OF can be used with countable and uncountable nouns.
Countable:

A FEW AND A LITTLE
A FEW is used with plural countable nouns.

A LITTLE is used with uncountable nouns.

HOW MANY AND HOW MUCH
HOW MANY is used with plural countable nouns.
How many books are there?
There are ten books.

HOW MUCH is used with uncountable nouns.

THERE IS is used with singular and uncountable nouns.
