UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS cannot
normally be counted individually.
Examples:
- water
- milk
- rice
- money
- information
- advice
- furniture

We can use:
much, a little, little, some, any, a lot of
Example:
There isn't much water.
IMPORTANT:
We do NOT usually say:
- an advice
- an information
- two breads
- three furnitures
Instead,
we say:
- a piece of advice
- a piece of information
- two loaves of bread / two pieces of bread
- three pieces of furniture

A LOT OF / LOTS OF
A LOT OF and LOTS
OF can be used with BOTH countable and uncountable nouns.
COUNTABLE:
I have a lot of books.
There are lots of students in my school.
UNCOUNTABLE:
She drinks a lot of water.
We have a lot of homework.
Both expressions mean a large quantity.

FEW AND LITTLE
Be careful with few and little.
FEW → COUNTABLE NOUNS
I have a few friends.
There are a few apples on the table.
LITTLE → UNCOUNTABLE NOUNS
I have a little money.
There is a little milk in the fridge.
