READING COMPREHENSION

ON A NICE SUMMER SUNDAY AFTERNOON

Hi there! My name is Sandy and I ______________ (look) at some family photos. Look at this one taken on the first Sunday afternoon of summer. This is a very nice and sunny afternoon. See, I _________ (try) to find some nice music on the radio, my husband, Henry ____________ (read) the newspaper. Joe, my brother _______ (water) the flowers, my brother - in-law, Steven has offered to clead the windows, on a Sunday!!!. Well, that is a propsition you can´t refuse!! My twin daughters Angie and Kate ___________ (play) with their dolls, just next to me. My son Sam _______ (stand) in front of his father eating sandwich. Joe, the kids´grandfather ________ (have) a nap and their grandmother Jenny _________ (drink) a noce cup of tea. Of course our cat Fluffy ______ (run) after the birds as usual and some of our ducks and bathing in the small pond. As you can see we have got quite a big garden around our house which is in Cardiff.

( La profesora dice, lugar de trabajo, acciones del trabajo).

Escribir tarea: Hacer una manualidad sobre mi profesión soñada, si quiero ser una enfermera hago una jeringa, si quiero ser un conductor hago un volante Etc

El profesor dibuja un profesión en el tablero lentamente, primero dibuja un profesor y pregunta a los estudiantes que es lo que ven, luego dibuja a un doctor y vuelve a preguntar a los niños que es lo que ven hasta que respondan "un/a profesor/a – Un/a doctor/a" (dar pistas), hacer lo mismo con otras profesiones . (dentist- nurse – pilot- mechanic).

• Hacer las siguientes actividades: Charadas 

Se divide al grupo en dos equipos. Todos deberán participar por turnos. Cada niño que pase al frente va a tener un papel en la frente que diga una profesión en inglés, los demás compañeritos (Integrantes del equipo) deberán describirle al niño que está en el tablero la profesión, diciendo su función, cómo se visten, etc etc, ( Sin mencionar la profesión explícitamente), el niño debe adivinar y decir la profesión en inglés, para valer el punto.

Escribir tarea: traer la consulta de una profesión que sea de su agrado y una imagen o dibujo alusivo a la profesión.
