PRESENT CONTINUOUS FOR FUTURE

 


Good morning my dear students. today we are going to continue working 

Present Continuous for Future

We use the Present Continuous (am/is/are + verb + -ing) to talk about plans or arrangements already decided for the near future.

  • Affirmative: Subject + am/is/are + verb-ing
  • Negative: Subject + am/is/are + not + verb-ing
  • Question: Am/Is/Are + subject + verb-ing?

 

Examples

  • I am meeting my friends tomorrow.
  • She is visiting her grandparents next weekend.
  • We are having an English test on Monday.
  • They are not going to the party on Saturday.
  • Are you traveling to Bogotá next week?
