DIALOGUE USING WH QUESTIONS

 

In pairs

1.El estudiante completa la pregunta con la palabra WH y la usa para entrevistar a su compañero.

Ejemplo:
Palabra: What
Pregunta: What does she do after school?

Palabras sugeridas:

  • Wh does he like to eat?
  • Wh does she live?
  • Wh does he go to bed?
  • Wh does she play with at school?
  • Wh does he study English?
  • H does she go to school?

 

2. El estudiante imagina una escena. Luego, su pareja hace preguntas usando WH y el presente continuo.

Ejemplo:
Pregunta: What is she doing?
Respuesta: She is playing the guitar.

Otras preguntas posibles:

  • Where is he going?
  • Who is she talking to?
  • What are they eating?
  • Why is he running?
  • How is she feeling?

 

3.El estudiante piensa en la rutina diaria de una persona (real o imaginaria) y su compañero le hace preguntas con WH en presente simple.

Ejemplo:
Pregunta: What time does she wake up?
Respuesta: She wakes up at 6:30.

 

4. El estudiante actúa o describe una acción en presente continuo, y su compañero hace preguntas para descubrir qué está haciendo.

Ejemplo:
Pregunta: What is he doing?
Respuesta: He is writing a message.

 

5.El estudiante hace preguntas para comparar su rutina con la de su compañero.

Ejemplo:
Pregunta: What does she eat for breakfast?
Respuesta: She eats fruit and cereal.
Pregunta: And what do you eat?

1. El estudiante responde con una decisión espontánea usando "I will..." después de escuchar una situación.

Ejemplo:
Situación: Your friend looks sad.
Respuesta: I will give them a hug.

Situaciones:

  • He sees a dog alone in the street.
  • She hears that the teacher needs help.
  • He feels very hungry.
  • She drops all her books.
  • They hear a loud noise outside.

 

2. El estudiante completa frases con predicciones usando "will" y las comparte con su pareja.

Ejemplo:
In 2050, people will live on the Moon.

Sentences:

  • He thinks school in the future will...

  • In the future, cellphones will...

 

3. El estudiante completa situaciones con una promesa u oferta usando "will" y luego intercambia roles con su pareja.

Ejemplo:
Situación: His partner is cold.
Respuesta: I will lend you, my jacket.

Situaciones:

  • Her friend is cold.
  • His partner forgot their lunch.
  • Someone is carrying a heavy bag.
  • His classmate didn’t understand the homework.
  • Her friend is nervous about an exam.

 

4.Los estudiantes crean mini-diálogos comparando una decisión espontánea ("will") con un plan ya hecho ("going to").

Ejemplo:
A: I’m hungry.
B: I will make you a sandwich.
A: No thanks, I’m going to eat pizza.

 

5. El estudiante lee las oraciones con su pareja y decide si cada una es una predicción, una decisión rápida, una promesa o una oferta.

Ejemplo:
Frase: I will carry your backpack.
Respuesta: It is an offer.

Sentences:
